To avoid error, you will receive a final confirmation email from The Company verifying this choice. Your mail system must accept the confirmation to complete the process (use of spam-blockers may cause confirmation email to bounce). It will take up to 10 days to remove your address from our databases.
What happens when I suppress my email address?
The Company will advise database administrators across the organization that you no longer wish to receive marketing or promotional email from The Company.
Administrative email about your account, products, services, other non-promotional matters, email to trade customers, and postal or telephone promotions are not affected.
Affiliates and Co-Branded Sites
If you provided your email address through one of our affiliate or co-branded sites, this action may not affect marketing from the affiliate or co-branded partner. Please advise the affiliate directly that you do not wish to receive email from them.
Note: The Company's multi-divisional email suppression tool is currently implemented in the US, Canada, Latin America, Western Europe, Turkey and Russia . If you live outside those areas, and submit an Email Suppression Request via the privacy notice on a The Company web site, you may continue to receive The Company email originating from other countries. The Company promotional email originating from the above countries will be blocked. When the tool is implemented in additional countries, The Company promotional email originating from those countries will also be blocked. All The Company promotional email from any country should contain an unsubscribe option. The unsubscribe option is independent of this multi-divisional email suppression tool and will remove you from that specific mailing list.
