Unprecedented Power
The Scan Station offers features like secure LDAP login and MS active directory, and functioning comparable to an MFP, including PDF Private Key Encryption and Password-protected PDF output. An integrated OCR engine lets users convert documents to text-searchable PDFs and deliver them to a variety of configurable destinations – all with a single touch on the scanner.

The Remote Administration software (SAT Tool) application is needed to remotely manage Scan Station(s).
Installation Instructions:
Download and Run the RemoteAdmin_SAT_v1.04.62.exe file on the PC that will be used to remotely manage your Scan Stations. If you currently have a previous version of the application installed, running the installer will upgrade your SAT installation to Version 1.4.62. You can use this version to remotely manage all your Scan Stations, including the SS710, SS730, and SS730EX Plus.
Please read the Release Notes for new capabilities and differences between the 730EX Plus and the Scan Station 710 and 730EX models.

PLEASE READ
There is a new Scan Station release and updated operating system that is shipping with all newly manufactured and AUR (Advanced Unit Replacement) SS730EX Plus machines. For details, please refer to Page 11 of the Release Notes.
If your Scan Station 730EX Plus has the latest version, 1.5.78, of the KODAK Scan Station application, along with operating system version 3.6, then there is no need to update your Scan Station with the Install Software (i.e., 1.5.69 release) or any of the accessories on this page. However, you should update your Remote Administration Software (SAT) to the latest version, 1.4.62.
If your Scan Station 730EX Plus is running with a version prior to the 1.5.69 of the KODAK Scan Station application, the VC2019 Accessory and KaUpdates-1-4-1 Accessory must be downloaded to the Scan Station prior to downloading and upgrading your Scan Station to the 1.5.69 or later release. The ScannerDriver 6-6 Accessory is optional. Please see Page 13 of the Release Notes for details on these accessories and installation instructions.

Alaris has several integration options for our scanners.
We have traditional thick client integration options with our TWAIN and ISIS and WIA drivers as well as an easy to use Scanner SDK.
We also have a state of the art RESTful Web API for integration to our network enabled scanners from any platform without installing host drivers.
For the Scan Station 730EX Plus, integration can only be done using our TWAIN driver.
